How it works
For whoever is organizing. It takes about five minutes to set up, and after that it mostly looks after itself.
Start a collection
Sign in with your email. We send you a link instead of asking for a password.
Then tell us who it’s for: their full name, and their dates if you like. You can add a few words that people will see when they open the link, like “We’d love anything you remember about Anne. A few lines is plenty.”
Paste one link into the group text
The collection page writes the invitation for you, with your link in it. Copy it and paste it wherever your family already talks: the group text, an email, a card at the service.
Anyone with the link can send something. They don’t see what anyone else sent, unless the organizer lets people read the others after sending one.

Thank you for doing this. I have about a hundred.
People send what they remember
However suits them:
- On the link. Record their voice, record a video, add photos, or type a few lines. It’s one page with big buttons, made for a thumb and for people who don’t like phones.
- By text, to (855) 414-1212. The first time, they send the person’s code, like ANNECARTER. After that, anything they text, a few words, a voice memo, a photo, goes to the right family.
- By email, to the collection’s own address, like annecarter@quicklittlememory.com. The first email from someone new waits for your OK, so nothing from a stranger reaches the family.
Nobody needs an account. We ask for a name so the family knows who each memory is from, and remember it on their phone for next time.
To (855) 414-1212
He always said “drive safe, call when you get there,” even when I was going ten minutes away.
Watch it come in
You see everything as it arrives, with who sent it and how they knew them. Voice memos and videos are transcribed, so you can read them as well as listen.
You can hide anything from the family with one tap, and bring it back the same way. If someone sends things that don’t belong, you can block them. Nothing is lost by mistake.
Give the family their own link, when they’re ready
There’s a second link, just for reading and listening. It shows everything you haven’t hidden. You decide when to send it, and to whom.
You can also keep it closed until a date. A child’s eighteenth birthday, a wedding, ten years from now. People can keep sending memories until then, and the link opens on the day.
Keep all of it
Download everything whenever you like: every word, a link to every recording and photo, who sent each one and when. You never have to rely on us alone.
You don’t have to do this by yourself, either. Invite a brother, a sister or a friend by email to look after the collection with you.
It’s five minutes, whenever you’re ready.
It’s invite-only for now, opening to a few families at a time. If you’ve been invited, sign in with the email the invitation went to. Otherwise, write to hello@quicklittlememory.com and we’ll let you know.
